Inmate CenturyLink phone account refund instructions

Effective Tuesday, May 19, 2020: LCSO discontinued CenturyLink as the phone carrier for the Detention Facility.  Anyone who sent funds for inmate calls via CenturyLink can request a refund by following the procedures below.

How does an inmate get a refund on their debit account?

Requests should be mailed to:

  • Requests must include the inmate's name, inmate I.D. number, residential address, daytime phone number
  • For records retention purposes, refund requests must be received within 30 days.
  • Please allow up to eight weeks for the refund to be received.

How do I get a refund for unused Prepaid services?

Simply call 888-506-8407. If refunding to the credit or debit card on file, refunds are available on the same day requested, typically within 15 minutes.
